ORDERS OF THE TEMPLE OF NIGHT

“You will never have a greater or lesser dominion than that over yourself…

the height of a man’s success is gauged by his self-mastery; the depth of his failure by his self-abandonment.”

Leonardo da Vinci | Italian Polymath

THE ORDER OF RA - "QUOD SUPERIUS, SICUT INFERIUS"

The Order of Ra is an esoteric initiatory order that operates from the perspective of the Left Hand Path.  The Order of Ra is solely dedicated to the practice of the principles and teachings of the Temple as given to us by the Founder and first Grandmaster of the Order, Tomemaster.

The Order of Ra takes inspiration from ancient Egyptian practices and combines them with western philosophical and majickal thought.  Ra, as a being, was viewed as the king of the gods and also the god of the sun; who shined his light on all things.

The Order of Ra takes an ethical approach to the practice of the magickal arts and the Old Ways.  It is based upon the philosophical principle of Dharma as well as the Arabic principle of Din, meaning “way of life”.  The Order of Ra also adheres to the principles of the Laws of Sorcery as well as the Law of Reconciliation of Opposites.

To the Order of Ra and its’ initiates, there is an inherent universal balance in all things.  As such, practitioners maintain a balanced practice of both positive and negative (correct and incorrect) energy. Currently the Order of Ra is presided over by its third seated Grandmaster, the Reverend Dark Nemesis.

THE ORDER OF SET -  "IN ABSENTIA LUCI, TENEBRAE VINCUNT"

The Order of Set is an esoteric initiatory order that operates from the perspective of the Left Hand Path.  The Order is solely dedicated to the practice of the principles and teachings of the Temple; as given to us by the Founder and first Grandmaster of the Order, the Very Reverend Father Damion Sterling.

The Order of Set takes inspiration from ancient Egyptian practices and combines them with western philosophical and majickal thought.  Set, as a being, is one of the oldest embodiments of the “Prince of Darkness” and was revered widely by the Egyptians and foreigners alike as a god of war, chaos, and storms.

Like its’ sister order, the Order of Set acknowledges an inherent universal balance in all things; however, it takes a darker approach to the majickal arts.  Currently the Order of Set is presided over by its third seated Grandmaster, the Reverend Arthwyr MacGill.
