The beliefs and teachings of Temple of Night
Temple of Night
Liber Noctis | Temple of Night
Liber Noctis, the Book of Night reads magick through three axes of lived experience and reveals that ritual, sigil, and story are psychotechnologies. They shape attention, regulate feeling, and rewrite habit, with no appeal to the supernatural — although its power is often given the title.

The Six Tenets
-
Magick
Magick is the science and art of causing change in conformity with will. Will is chosen, and may be chosen again. There is no destiny to be discovered.
-
Lived Reality
The world we live in is made of concepts as much as matter. What we imagine, agree to, and enact becomes the reality we live in.
-
Open Belief
We judge belief by what it does, not by whether it can be proven. Each member's metaphysics are their own.
-
Reciprocity
Every act is a cause and every input shapes its output. What you put into your mind, body, and world returns as what you become.
-
Agency is Sacred
Every rite, symbol, and story is only ethical when it is freely chosen. Within the Temple, no one is drawn into a rite without consent, and we learn to recognize the rites that act on us, unasked.
-
Presence
We give our full attention to where we are, and we gather to do it together, or alone, as we see fit. We record what we do and what follows and we revise or end whatever no longer serves.
